Turmeric is a spice originally from southern Asia and is commonly used in Asian and Indian dishes such as curry, but did you know about all the health benefits turmeric provides for your body and mind?
Turmeric contains curcumin which is a potent anti-inflammatory that aids in digestive health, strengthens immune function, improves cardiovascular health and has cancer-fighting properties.
This bright yellow spice assists with better blood circulation allowing blood to deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the brain which helps boost and stabilize mood, and can slow cognitive decline due to aging.
Studies also show that curcumin's anti-inflammatory effects help reduce muscle, joint and arthritic pain over time, allowing more freedom for movement which is always important for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health!
To your happy, healthy life!
