Summer is a time of heightened activity and it can easily become overwhelming if we’re not taking adequate time to recover. The best way to calm the busyness in any season is to literally make time to do nothing.

Our nervous system needs down time to reset after all we ask of it, so take a moment out of your day with this brief yet effective body scan to do just that. Dim the lights, lie down, and relax while our massage therapist, Krystal Meyer, leads you through a restorative body scan. 

What you’ll need:

  • A quiet place to relax and lie down

  • Headphones or a speaker to play this audio  

  • Body props like pillows and a blanket to get comfy

  • Essential oils or incense to infuse your environment with relaxation 
    (We recommend the Lagom Body Co. Alpine Meadow spray, available here at VWS!)

  • 15min to set up, lie down, and re-awaken more relaxed!
