Women and Girls Wisdom Circle
Friday, Oct. 21st
4:45 pm - 6:45pm
$25 adult $10 child
Where in our culture is there a safe space for women and girls to circle together, speaking their hearts and experiencing the magic and support of Sisterhood? In a society that revels in ʻmean girlʼ culture, we must find ways to model women surrounding each other with positivity and support.
Come celebrate yourselves as daughters, mothers and sisters. We will create sacred space, take a guided journey to the Old Wise One, draw the images we bring back and share our stories. There will be song and dance, laughter and a deep knowing that we are united in community no matter where we are. No talent or prior experience required.
Women of all ages and girls aged mature 7+ are welcome. Young girls, under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Mothers and daughters, college students and retired women are encouraged to come. This circle in no way conforms to the rules or standards of any official religion or spiritual practice. Please bring an item of sentiment, i.e. a photo, rock or special charm to place on the altar if you like.
