Sleepy Time Yoga
A collection of relaxation poses and techniques are explored to effectively unwind your whole self. We will be using props to assist with restorative, yin, shadow yoga, pranayama and guided relaxation while sitting and reclining for the entire class. (*If you allow*) Dissolve into class with a warm cup of herbal tea.
About your instructors:
Kara is a certified Integrative Movement Therapy Practitioner and Yoga Instructor trained by The Samarya Center and White Crow Yoga. She is a skilled, hands-on instructor/therapist trainer offering CEs for those in yoga and aquatic fields of work. Her Aqua Yoga Certification Program was launched in 2016.
Specializing in serving her elders is an honor as their wisdom is contagious.In her classes, therapy, and trainings, Kara promotes individualized attention and guiding students towards physical and perspective changes that make daily living more enjoyable.
Abril is a smart, authentic, sassy gal who lives her happiness in such a big way that you can’t help but leave her classes feeling refreshed. She has been practicing yoga since 1998, completing her RYT 200 hour certification in 2014 though the Samarya Center for Humankind(ness).
You can find Abril teaching Samarya Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. She loves to work with students whose needs are not met by traditional yoga studios. Abril has studied under many wonderful teachers including Molly Lannon Kenny, EB Ferdig, Julie McCoy Cox, and Sundaari SitaRam.
