Dr. Julia Harrison
DSW, LSWAIC (She/Her)
Julia Harrison, DSW, LSWAIC, is a doctorally trained social worker and therapist who provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals seeking greater balance, resilience, and wellbeing. Dr. Harrison takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are and honoring the strengths, values, and experiences they bring to the healing process.
Dr. Harrison has always been drawn to work that centers healing, empowerment, and authentic human connection. She earned her Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Southern California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, which informs her appreciation for meaning-making and the deeper questions people often explore during times of transition and growth. She has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, family stress, and major life transitions, with a focus on helping clients develop practical tools for emotional regulation and lasting change.
Dr. Harrison celebrates neurodiversity and believes that everyone deserves care that respects how their mind and nervous system works. She focuses on nervous system regulation as a foundation for optimal health and wellness, helping clients build skills that support resilience, self-awareness, and emotional stability.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Harrison integrates holistic wellness practices into her work. She is certified in Sound Empowerment, a Certified Unified Yoga Instructor, and a Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner. With a strong appreciation for music and creative expression, she enjoys incorporating sound, movement, playfulness, and humor into sessions when appropriate to support engagement, connection, and healing.
Dr. Harrison welcomes individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families—and enjoys working with anyone who feels drawn to collaborate with her. She strives to create a warm environment where clients feel safe exploring challenges, building strengths, and moving toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Kate Williams
MSW, LICSW (She/Her)
Kate is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and certified EMDR therapist.
Kate takes a warm, human-centered, and empowerment focus that supports the innate healing wisdom of each individual. Kate views her role as a guide to help others in achieving their wellness goals. Kate’s sessions are personalized, collaborative, and often include self-compassion work, mindfulness, and somatic methods.
Whether you want to address depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, burn out, imposter syndrome, life transitions, or generally improving self-esteem and confidence, Kate is ready to listen closely, ask meaningful questions and collectively create a plan unique to your needs.
In addition to EMDR, Kate uses additional evidence-based therapies such as Flash Technique and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to provide a blend of more structured and less structured activities as well as both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
Kate provides telehealth therapy services to individual adults and specializes in trauma and anxiety. Kate has a particular interest in working with midlife issues, helping professionals, and welcomes anyone brand new to therapy. She enjoys working in both a primary therapist role, as well as providing adjunct EMDR as a supplemental therapy to those who already have a primary therapist.

Amanda Salazar
LCMHCI (She/Her)
Amanda is a Clinical Mental Health Intern completing her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a Mental Health track at Western Oregon University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and approaches her work from a holistic, integrative perspective honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and lived experience. Amanda works with individuals, teens, couples, and families, with a special passion for supporting clients through the perinatal and postpartum seasons of life. She understands that these transitions can bring both profound joy and unexpected challenges, and she offers a steady, compassionate presence during times of change.
Her approach is person centered and humanistic at its core. Amanda believes that each individual already carries inherent strength and resilience, even when it feels out of reach. She integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and elements of Gestalt Therapy to create sessions that are both structured and deeply relational.
Amanda views therapy as a collaborative journey. She strives to cultivate a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they grow. With warmth, empathy, and gentle guidance, she walks alongside her clients as they build insight, develop practical tools, and reconnect with their inner capacity for change.

Gretchen Edwards

Gretchen is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate who believes in the power of connection in finding healing in our lives. Her approach is warm, collaborative, eclectic, and relationship-focused, recognizing that growth and healing in a therapeutic environment is best supported in a foundation of safety, trust, openness, and respect. Grounded in relational, family systems, EMDR, and somatic therapies, Gretchen believes in the power of walking beside her clients on their journey to healing.
Gretchen brings a wealth of experience in working with individuals experiencing caregiver stress, chronic pain and illness, cancer, grief/loss/end of life concerns, ADHD, anxiety, depression, infertility, occupational stress, postpartum and post-adoption depression and anxiety, and parenting of aging parents. Additionally, Gretchen’s years of experience as both a potential adoptive parent-in-waiting and later an adoptive mom have given her firsthand knowledge of the tremendous challenges adoptive families face in finding resources that are adoption trauma/attachment informed for both adopted children and their parents. Her professional experiences have often focused on listening to, supporting, and encouraging individuals in hard places as they find their way to feeling truly heard and seen in both group settings and through one-on-one counseling focused on mindfulness, camaraderie, and evidence-based practices.

Lauren Schneider

Lauren has always had a servant’s heart. She finds it immensely gratifying to help people, and is deeply passionate about her work as a Massage Therapist. Lauren has been practicing professional massage since 2006, and has known it was her path since childhood.
Lauren is fascinated by our amazingly-designed bodies, and is grateful to perpetually learn about human health through the context of clients she cares for. It is her pleasure to provide massage in a safe space for clients to unwind, find rest and receive nurturing, therapeutic touch.
Though she loves working with a variety of modalities, she especially enjoys providing relief for those who are overworked, prenatal and postpartum clients, and seniors. She also has a gentle approach for addressing TMJD. Overall and above all, she is honored to serve you at our Waterfront Spa location.

Robin LaCosse

Known for her intuitive touch, Robin began her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2011. She has worked in a variety of settings and with a diverse population, and focuses on creating a safe, nurturing space focused on healing.
Robin believes in the power of holistic wellness, and her personalized approach is designed to bring physical relief as well as mental relaxation. Her style is most often referred to as "Therapeutic Relaxation", or Treatment-Focused Relaxation, combining gentle flowing movements with deep tissue techniques. Heat, aromatherapy, and breathwork are often used alongside myofascial and neuromuscular techniques to bring mindfulness and body awareness to each session. Her ability to easily adjust pressure and techniques, allows for a completely unique treatment plan for each client.

James Curry

After a leap of faith onto this career path, James has been happily practicing massage therapy since 2013. His education and career thus far took place in Austin, TX, where he honed his craft in the spa industry. Now as a new transplant, he is very excited for this new chapter of his life where he gets to serve the diverse communities of Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
In his practice James likes using broad and firm pressure to decompress the body, and is known for his intuition, his ability to improvise and adapt, and for inhabiting the space between therapeutic and relaxation. As a skin and bodycare enthusiast, James also has a strong passion for hydrotherapy and body treatments such as scrubs, masques, and wraps to help your skin glow regardless of the weather or time of year. Overall James enjoys helping you get that "reset" you need if you've been feeling out of sorts, whether that means a well-placed elbow in your shoulder, an hour of quiet sanctuary, a salt scrub when the seasons shift, or something else entirely. James is very comfortable with a variety of modalities and will partner with you on your goals.

Emily Morris, ND, MSAOM, L.Ac. is a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist at VWS. Dr. Morris focuses on patient-centered care with a background in nutrition, Naturopathic Medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She was born and raised in Ohio and always wanted to be a part of the healthcare field. She discovered Naturopathic Medicine through her step-mom’s cancer journey while in high school. She was inspired by her Naturopathic Doctor’s holistic approach to medicine and decided this was her life’s calling. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a BS in Nutrition Sciences and a minor in Integrative Approaches to Health and Wellness, she moved across the country to pursue her Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University. Due to her experience working with an Oriental Medicine Doctor and multiple acupuncturists in college, she pursued a dual degree with a Master in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Throughout medical school, she was shaped into a physician and learned how to heal her own ailments with the help of holistic practices. Dr. Morris understands how devastating health issues can be and can relate especially to those who have experienced the loss of loved-ones from terminal illnesses. With her background, Dr. Morris is a strong ally for a patient’s health journey. She will work together with her patients to find their barriers to healing, and discover personalized treatment plans that work with their resources, values, and beliefs.
Dr. Morris has clinical interests in gastroenterology, women’s health, dermatology, and mental health conditions. With 5 years of camp counseling experience, she has also developed a clinical interest in working with teens and young adults. She provides integrative primary care and offers Western and Eastern healing modalities in addition to conventional diagnosis and treatment options. She loves herbalism, mind-body medicine, energetic medicine, nature-cure philosophy, and nutrition. Dr. Morris looks forward to meeting you!

Emily is a Licensed Esthetician who specializes in holistic skincare, facial waxing, and more. Based in Vancouver, Washington, she has been serving locally since May 2015.
Emily is passionate about helping people love their skin and to feel confident about themselves. She teaches her clients about the importance of taking care of one’s skin naturally and helps find creative solutions to incorporate skincare into their daily ritual. A gentle approach to correctives and finding solutions to sensitive skin conditions are a huge part of her practice.
Before studying esthetics, Emily spent three years living abroad volunteering with homeless and at-risk youth. After working with non-profit workers from all walks of life and cultures, she discovered her passion for assisting others on their self-care journey in order to be more successful in their specific spheres of influence, whether that be volunteering, family, or career driven. When an individual knows how to take care of themselves and is confident in their beauty, Emily believes that person has the potential to change the world.

She specializes in, and is passionate about, working with healthcare professionals to create the businesses of their dreams. Big goals always have a psychological component beneath the surface, so Kendall uses her background in Somatic Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapy mixed with Business Coaching tools to help clients develop a healthy relationship with their business and their strength as a leader. As someone who lives with a chronic illness herself, Kendall feels that health happens best within community, which is why she takes a holistic, integrative, and collaborative wellness approach to her personal and professional life.
