Neurodiversity
You’re not alone, we’re here to support you.
Neurodiversity is a way of understanding the natural variations in how people think, learn, process information, and experience the world. It includes diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and more—viewed not as deficits or disorders, but as different ways of being human. At Vancouver Wellness Studio, we honor neurodiversity as a source of strength and creativity. Every neurodivergent experience is unique, and there is no single "right" way to think or feel. Our goal is to create an environment where individuals can be supported, understood, and empowered to thrive—exactly as they are.
Our Approach to Neurodiversity-Affirming Care
At Vancouver Wellness Studio, we support neurodivergent individuals and their families with care that is respectful, personalized, and rooted in compassion. We don’t see neurodiversity as something to "fix"—we see it as a natural part of being human. Our therapists use a strength-based, non-judgmental approach that values each person’s unique experience. We are trauma-informed and inclusive, creating a safe space where people can feel understood and supported. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your whole family, we work with you to build a care plan that fits your needs and goals.

Many adults come to understand their neurodivergence later in life—often after years of masking, burnout, or feeling "different" without knowing why. At Vancouver Wellness Studio, we offer a supportive, affirming space for adults to explore their identity, heal from past misunderstandings, and build new ways of living that feel aligned and sustainable. Whether you've recently received a diagnosis or are beginning to suspect you're neurodivergent, you're welcome here.
We support adults through:
Navigating later in life diagnoses and processing new insights
Unmasking and reclaiming a more authentic identity
Coping with sensory sensitivities, burnout, or work-related stress
Improving relationships and setting healthy boundaries
Exploring self-acceptance and building daily routines that work

Intern Therapy
At VWS we are proud to support our community by providing reduced fee services for clients seeking mental health. We offer a clinical training program for graduate-level intern therapists. As part of this program, we offer low-cost counseling with fees of $90 for Individuals and $115.00 for Couples + Family therapy.
Our Intern Therapists start at different times throughout the year, most often in January or April, and see clients during their internship for up to 10-18 months.
