Conditions We Support

Women's health symptoms are rarely simple. Dr. Ellis is trained to work with complexity through a holistic lens.

whether you're newly diagnosed, years into managing a chronic condition, or still looking for answers.

Hormones, Periods, and PCOS

Hormone concerns rarely show up as just one symptom. Irregular cycles, acne, hair changes, mood shifts, fatigue, and weight changes are often connected — and understanding how they're connected is where the work begins.

Dr. Ellis takes a thorough approach to hormonal evaluation, going beyond standard labs to identify patterns in hormone metabolism, thyroid function, adrenal output, and cycle dynamics. For patients with PCOS, care is individualized to your specific hormonal picture because PCOS presents differently in every patient, and treatment should too.

Support may include comprehensive lab interpretation, cycle tracking, targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies, botanical and pharmaceutical options, and ongoing monitoring as your picture evolves.

How we help

Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis

Painful periods are common, but common doesn't mean acceptable, and it doesn't mean there's nothing to be done. Pelvic pain is one of the most underdiagnosed and undertreated areas in women's health, and many patients arrive having been told their symptoms are normal for years.

Dr. Ellis has advanced clinical training in endometriosis and genitopelvic pain disorders, and understands that pelvic pain is rarely one thing. Endometriosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, adhesions, bowel involvement, inflammation, and hormonal patterns often overlap — and addressing them requires someone who can see the whole picture.

Care may include pelvic floor therapy, Maya abdominal massage, comprehensive hormone, inflammatory, and immunological lab work, targeted medical management, and coordination with surgical specialists when indicated.

Chronic Vaginal Infections and Vulvar Discomfort

Recurrent infections, burning, itching, vulvar pain, and unexplained irritation deserve a real evaluation, not just another round of the same treatment. These conditions are often complex, frequently misdiagnosed, and rarely resolved with a one-size approach.

Dr. Ellis provides a thorough, trauma-informed assessment that includes a detailed symptom and treatment history, evaluation of contributing factors, and a management plan built around your specific presentation. Whether you're dealing with recurrent BV, chronic yeast, vulvodynia, lichen sclerosus, or something that hasn't been diagnosed yet, you don't have to keep starting over.

Perimenopause and Menopause

Perimenopause is one of the most significant hormonal transitions of a woman's life and one of the most poorly supported by conventional medicine. Irregular cycles, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, shifts in libido, vaginal dryness, and vasomotor symptoms are all real, and all worth addressing.

Dr. Ellis helps patients understand what's driving their symptoms, interpret their labs in the context of where they are in the transition, and build a plan that evolves as their hormones do. Options may include nutrition and lifestyle support, botanical and supplement protocols, and bioidentical hormone therapy.

Meet Our Providers

Meet Dr. Molly Ellis, ND

Dr. Molly Ellis is the Lead Naturopathic Doctor and Medical Director at Vancouver Wellness Studio, and has spent over a decade specializing in women's, reproductive, and sexual health.

She completed her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland and holds advanced training in endometriosis, PCOS, genitopelvic pain disorders, and hormone therapy. She is also a certified pelvic floor therapist and practitioner of Maya abdominal massage — bringing a hands-on dimension to her care that few naturopathic providers offer.

Dr. Ellis practices with a Health at Every Size approach and believes that good women's healthcare starts with actually being believed. Many of her patients come to her after years of dismissed symptoms, inconclusive workups, or treatments that are unsustainable. She takes that history seriously.
