Motor Vehicle Accident Massages

If you’ve recently been in a motor vehicle accident, you may be dealing with more than just the damage to your vehicle. Even minor collisions can leave a lasting impact on your body, leading to pain, tension, and emotional stress that lingers long after the incident. At Vancouver Wellness Studio, we specialize in massage therapy that’s tailored specifically for those recovering from auto accidents—supporting you not only in healing your body but also in finding balance and peace of mind.

Start your recovery with us

If your injuries are related to a motor vehicle accident, we accept MVA's for massage therapy, and can work directly with your car insurance. Our billing team is experienced in helping clients navigate claims and benefits. This means one less thing for you to worry about while you focus on healing.

Massage Therapy Promotes Physical Recovery

Our team of licensed massage therapists understands the specific needs of auto accident patients. We use a variety of techniques to help you:

  • Reduce Pain and Inflammation: By increasing blood flow and stimulating the lymphatic system, massage can reduce swelling and help your body flush out toxins that cause discomfort and stiffness.

  • Improve Circulation and Speed Healing: Gentle, targeted strokes encourage better circulation, which allows oxygen and nutrients to reach injured tissues faster—promoting faster recovery.

  • Restore Mobility: Many clients experience restricted movement after an accident. Through massage, we help release tight muscles and improve your range of motion so you can get back to daily life with greater ease.

Meet Our Providers

LAUREN SCHNEIDER, LMT

Lauren has always had a servant’s heart. She finds it immensely gratifying to help people, and is deeply passionate about her work as a Massage Therapist. Lauren has been practicing professional massage since 2006, and has known it was her path since childhood.

Lauren is fascinated by our amazingly-designed bodies, and is grateful to perpetually learn about human health through the context of clients she cares for. It is her pleasure to provide massage in a safe space for clients to unwind, find rest and receive nurturing, therapeutic touch.

Though she loves working with a variety of modalities, she especially enjoys providing relief for those who are overworked, prenatal and postpartum clients, and seniors. She also has a gentle approach for addressing TMJD. Overall and above all, she is honored to serve you.

James Curry, LMT

After a leap of faith onto this career path, James has been happily practicing massage therapy since 2013. His education and career thus far took place in Austin, TX, where he honed his craft in the spa industry. Now as a new transplant, he is very excited for this new chapter of his life where he gets to serve the diverse communities of Vancouver and the surrounding areas. In his practice James likes using broad and firm pressure to decompress the body, and is known for his intuition, his ability to improvise and adapt, and for inhabiting the space between therapeutic and relaxation.

As a skin and bodycare enthusiast, James also has a strong passion for hydrotherapy and body treatments such as scrubs, masques, and wraps to help your skin glow regardless of the weather or time of year. Overall James enjoys helping you get that "reset" you need if you've been feeling out of sorts, whether that means a well-placed elbow in your shoulder, an hour of quiet sanctuary, a salt scrub when the seasons shift, or something else entirely. James is very comfortable with a variety of modalities and will partner with you on your goals.

Robin LaCosse, LMT
