Stretch & Roll 4-Week Series

Learn how to use foam rollers and lacrosse balls in this 4 part series to address chronic muscle tension and pain. In this series we dive into education around muscle function, mechanics of proper stretching, how to target different muscles around the body, self-care planning tips and inflammation management.

Dr. Tameka first discovered the benefits of lacrosse ball rolling back in 2011 after she suffered her 4th vertebral disc herniation. Tameka worked with an integrated bodyworker on the techniques of trigger point release for over a year and she continues to incorporate lacrosse balls and foam rolling into her daily stretching to reduce ongoing inflammation and connective tissue pain. After completing her Doctorate in Acupuncture with a focus on sports medicine and musculoskeletal disorders, Tameka found stretching and rolling to be even more effective when combined with regular acupuncture treatments. Tameka believes self-care is the key to freedom from pain, and is passionate about helping others find their own freedom.
